welcome to bcckids!

BayLight Kids exist to nurture our children with God's love and truth so that they grow up into passionate worshipers for Jesus and bear much fruit in the world!

Read a full transcript of Karen's Vision Talk here. A brief excerpt from Karen's exciting talk:

Wouldn't it be great to see:
Children in this neighborhood coming to BayLight, because the word has gotten out that this is a fun place to learn about Jesus.

Our children inviting other children to come to church, and as a result, we have so many children in who come to church they we start running out of room.

Wouldn't it be great to see our unbelieving parents come to BayLight because their children keep asking them when they will come and the parents see a difference in their children.

As a result, parents get saved and families are changed.

Wouldn't it be great to see 10 years from now:
Our children becoming leaders at their high schools and witness to their friends in the classrooms, in the marching band, or on the basketball team.

As a result, high school students are getting saved, parents are getting saved, and families are changed. God begins to break down the dysfunctional patterns and families are healed. And as result, the community is changed because they see the transformations.

And it all began because we were nurturing our children with God's love and truth Sunday after Sunday so that they would become passionate worshipers and bear much fruit in the world.

  • The Staff

The leader of our children's ministry is Elbert Cheng. We are committed to staffing our children's ministry with adults who love children and desire to show God's love to them. Each Sunday there will be two people caring for your children. Before the children arrive each Sunday, these two people will spend time praying for your children by name. Each worker will be identified with a nametag. Diapers will be checked and changed with someone else present, and at least one woman will be working each Sunday. For any questions or comments, contact Elbert.

    When you bring your child...

Please see that your child's bottles, pacifiers, and other personal belongings are labeled. We also ask that you fill out the information requested on your child's file card. You will be given a numbered claim tag which corresponds to the number on your child's name tag. As a safety precaution, this tag will be required when you return to pick up your child. We welcome information about your child's learning style and things your child enjoys doing. This knowledge helps us to better serve and love your children.

    Health and Hygiene
To protect the health of your child and all the children we serve, please do not leave a child in our care with any of the following:

  • Fever
  • Runny nose w/ colored mucus
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Skin infections
  • Eye discharge
  • Chronic cough
  • Any acute infectious disease

  • If your child is sick, please keep them with you in the service; there is family seating available in the back.

Family seating can also be used if you are called to pick your child up early in the event that we are not able to calm your child after 15 minutes of crying.
