Hideyo Satake I’m Bay Area born and raised. After a few years of living in Japan on mission and a few more years of living in Pasadena for seminary, I’ve grown increasingly convinced that the Bay Area is the best place on Earth. As a stay-at-home dad to my son, Sam and my daughter, Sarah, the Lord has shown me in tangible ways His love for this place and its people too. To make up for the Bay Area’s only lack, a good, warm beach, I am frequently on the lookout for opportunities to spend quality time in a tropical location with my wife, Alinna.
