CHURCH STAFF

Lead Pastor
Mike Kim

When not playing Bionicle with his boys (Stewart and Bennett) or peppering his daughter, Emma, with kisses, Mike likes to enjoy a free moment with his wife of twelve years, Leslie, over hot drinks, scones and pastries from Peet's Coffee. He can also be seen reading up on Pittsburgh sports teams, negotiating controversial fantasy sports trades, scheming ways to get his ebay feedback rating above 54, fantasizing that he is singing 80's music in Karaoke Revolution (XBox), or catching up on old Monk episodes. Rumor has it that he started exercising for the first time in years and has even become a volunteer P.E. instructor's aid at his son's school. But in case you're wondering, Mike would like you to know that a career change is not imminent. Contact Mike.

Outreach Ministry Leader
Jason Kuo

Jason is the resident eater on the staff team. From early on in the life of the church, he was known as the "guy who we'd have to make sure we had extra food for." But more than food, Jason is hungry for people to know the love of God and for people to experience the richness of His grace through Jesus Christ. A lifetime resident of the SF Bay Area, he loves photography, basketball, the outdoors, Macs, Mario video games, eating, spending time with friends, and enjoying the company of his wonderful wife, Marcia. He is currently attending seminary at Golden Gate, and loves reading all those fun books! Beware talking to him about technology - he might convince you to get a Mac or some other new techno-gadget. If you can't find Jason, he might be at Fry's. Contact Jason.

Outreach Ministry Leader
Hideyo Satake

Hideyo's always been a bit of a dreamer. Never really sure of what he wanted to be when he grew up, he jumped from wanting to be a policeman, to being an astronaut, to being an engineer, to being a doctor before God gave him a dream for ministry and missions. In pursuit of those dreams, Hideyo is working on finishing his schooling at Fuller and looking for opportunities to bartend in Silicon Valley. Hideyo also spends quite a lot of time dreaming of occasions to test out his still unused snowboard, hoping that the Giants will win the World Series, and looking for ways to spend quality time on a sandy tropical beach with his wife, Alinna. Contact Hideyo.

Community Life Coordinator
Hanah Ahn

Hanah is a lover of nature and the great outdoors. Her idea of a great vacation is camping out in the wilderness with her husband Eddie and taking long leisurely day hikes with some wildlife sightings along the way…or any kind of get-away to the mountains. Hanah is a high school teacher, and during the school year, she is busy at work convincing her students of the wonders of biology. During her free time, you might catch her baking some cookies, taking a run, or toting around her camera to shoot some photos.
